Rev. Whitford Frank Walter's work was tucked into a box with his typewriter. The box was discovered in 1987 in the attic of Liza's childhood home. Since then, Liza began to compile the messages, some on scribbled on bits of paper into the work that is now available for all to read. Take a walk along the Grandpa's journey to the YMCAs in the early 1900s as he encouraged young men and as he continued his writing as a pastor to small eastern North Carolina congregations.
